Toshiba Portege G810 – Super Slim Touch Screen

Toshiba's Portégé range has a new handset addition in the form of the G810, a super slim touchscreen designed for business users. This handset has already launched at World Mobile Congress event, February 11-14, 2008 in Barcelona.

Like those other two, Portege G710 and G910, this one's a Windows Mobile 6 device, and it boasts support for HSDPA and HSUPA, along with built-in GPS and A-GPS, and the always-welcome integrated WiFi and Bluetooth.

Otherwise, you can expect a 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen, a 3 megapixel camera, a microSD card slot for expansion and even an FM radio in case all the usual PMP features aren't enough for you. No word on a price, but you can look for this one to hit Europe sometime in the second quarter of this year.

The Portege G810 also has a large QVGA touchscreen with GPS and A-GPS built in for the easy finding of B from A. It's also the same thickness as the Sony Ericsson K770i, a mere 14mm, and has that popular fingerprint-attracting black mirrored finish.

Entertainment on the move is provided by Windows Media Player Mobile and a 65K colour screen, allowing users to listen to music, view images and watch video clips wherever they are while the handset also offers built-in GPS and AGPS functionality.

Other functions and features include MMS, SMS and FM radio, and with full connectivity to GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 3G as well as support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microSD card up to 4GB. /PR
